Position Summary

Financial institutions require sophisticated payment infrastructures capable of handling high transaction volumes while maintaining reliability and security.

The Global Director – Digital Payments Strategy & Transaction Innovation will oversee the strategic development of advanced fintech payment platforms that support modern digital commerce environments.

Working remotely while contributing to fintech initiatives aligned with the UAE’s dynamic financial technology landscape, the Director will lead efforts to design next-generation payment ecosystems capable of supporting scalable and efficient digital financial transactions.

Strategic Responsibilities

Digital Payments Platform Strategy

• Develop long-term strategies for the evolution of digital payment technologies.

• Introduce scalable payment architectures capable of supporting high-volume financial transactions.

Transaction Infrastructure Development

• Guide the design of secure financial transaction processing systems.

• Implement distributed payment infrastructures supporting multi-channel financial services.

Payment Innovation Initiatives

• Identify emerging fintech technologies capable of improving payment efficiency and reliability.

• Support experimentation with new payment models designed for digital commerce environments.

Financial Platform Performance

• Ensure payment platforms maintain high availability and operational stability.

• Implement monitoring tools that optimize system performance and transaction speed.

Technologies typically associated with this role include:

• Real-time payment processing systems

• Financial transaction orchestration platforms

• Digital wallet infrastructure technologies

• Payment fraud detection and monitoring systems

Candidate Requirements

Experience:

12–16 years working within fintech payment systems, financial transaction infrastructure, or digital banking technology.

Core Competencies:

Strong understanding of payment platform architecture, financial transaction routing, and fintech infrastructure design.

Leadership Experience:

Experience managing cross-functional fintech teams responsible for payment system innovation and platform development.

Strategic Impact

The Global Director will contribute to building advanced payment ecosystems aligned with the UAE’s growing fintech innovation environment, enabling institutions to deliver faster and more reliable digital financial services.
