Executive Overview

The Chief Architect will design, lead, and integrate large-scale digital banking infrastructures, focusing on core banking, cross-border payments, and enterprise financial systems. This role merges technology leadership, strategic systems integration, and regulatory oversight to deliver scalable, resilient, and interoperable financial platforms across multiple regions.

This position requires mastery in system architecture, distributed ledgers, API ecosystems, and operational orchestration, ensuring a holistic financial platform that can handle high transaction volumes, real-time processing, and intelligent financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

1. Core Banking & Enterprise Systems

• Architect modular, scalable core banking and lending systems

• Integrate real-time payment engines and transaction reconciliation frameworks

• Optimize operational efficiency and cross-platform interoperability

2. Payments & Transaction Orchestration

• Design real-time, cross-border payment pipelines with automated settlement

• Implement intelligent routing for multi-currency and multi-platform transactions

• Monitor systemic performance and enforce operational SLAs

3. Financial Data & AI Intelligence

• Build centralized financial data lakes supporting analytics, reporting, and strategic decision-making

• Integrate AI/ML models for predictive financial insights and risk analysis

• Develop real-time dashboards for executive-level financial monitoring

• Cloud-native digital banking platforms

• Distributed ledger / blockchain systems

• API-first architecture and service-oriented design

• AI/ML-based financial intelligence engines

Regulatory Alignment

Ensure compliance with Saudi Central Bank regulations, including digital banking standards, cross-border payments compliance, and cybersecurity mandates.

Candidate Profile

• 20+ years in fintech architecture, digital banking, or enterprise financial systems

• Proven leadership in global digital banking transformations

• Expertise in distributed systems, AI-driven analytics, and payments infrastructure

• Experience leading multi-disciplinary, globally distributed teams
