Role Overview
The Transaction Processing & Financial Control Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring that fintech transactions are executed accurately and that financial controls are maintained across all operational processes. The position requires cross-functional coordination and a strong understanding of both transaction workflows and financial oversight.
Responsibility Domains
Domain 1: Transaction Execution
- Process and monitor digital transactions across multiple platforms
- Ensure transactions are completed accurately and within expected timelines
- Identify and escalate transaction failures or irregularities
Domain 2: Financial Control
- Implement and maintain financial control measures
- Verify transaction accuracy against financial records
- Ensure adherence to internal operational procedures
Domain 3: Reconciliation & Verification
- Perform regular reconciliation of transaction data
- Match internal records with external financial systems
- Investigate discrepancies and ensure timely resolution
Domain 4: Reporting & Analysis
- Generate operational and financial reports
- Analyze transaction trends and identify performance issues
- Provide insights for process improvements
Domain 5: Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with finance, IT, and risk teams
- Support issue resolution and system improvements
- Maintain clear communication across departments
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems
- 5–8 years of experience in fintech or banking operations
- Strong understanding of transaction processing and financial controls
Technical Skills
- Payment processing platforms
- Reconciliation tools and financial systems
- Data analysis and reporting software
