Role Overview
This role provides continuous monitoring of fintech transaction systems, ensuring that all financial activities are processed accurately and efficiently. The position requires real-time decision-making, issue resolution, and operational coordination.
A Typical Workday
Start of Day: System Review
- Review transaction summaries from previous cycles
- Identify unresolved issues or pending transactions
- Prepare monitoring dashboards
Midday: Active Monitoring & Issue Resolution
- Monitor live transaction flows across multiple channels
- Detect anomalies, delays, or failures
- Investigate and resolve operational issues
- Coordinate with IT and finance teams
Afternoon: Reconciliation & Verification
- Perform interim reconciliation checks
- Validate transaction accuracy across systems
- Document discrepancies and corrective actions
End of Day: Reporting & Handover
- Generate daily operational reports
- Highlight key issues and resolutions
- Prepare handover notes for the next cycle
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor fintech transaction systems in real time
- Investigate and resolve transaction issues
- Maintain accurate operational records
- Support reporting and compliance requirements
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, or related field
- 4–7 years of experience in fintech operations or banking
- Strong understanding of transaction monitoring systems
Technical Skills
- Transaction monitoring tools
- Data analysis and reporting software
- Familiarity with payment processing systems
