Role Context
In a rapidly evolving digital payments environment, maintaining transaction accuracy across the entire lifecycle is critical. This role is designed for a specialist who can oversee transactions from initiation through final settlement, ensuring that discrepancies are identified early and resolved efficiently.
Functional Responsibilities
Transaction Lifecycle Oversight
- Manage transactions from initiation through authorization, clearing, and settlement
- Ensure all transaction data is captured accurately across systems
- Monitor transaction flows across multiple payment channels
Reconciliation Management
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations
- Match internal transaction records with external financial data
- Investigate mismatches and ensure timely resolution
Exception Resolution
- Identify failed or delayed transactions
- Analyze root causes and implement corrective actions
- Maintain detailed logs of exceptions and resolutions
Operational Reporting
- Prepare reconciliation and transaction performance reports
- Highlight discrepancies, trends, and operational risks
- Support audit and compliance documentation
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
- 5–8 years of experience in fintech operations or banking reconciliation
- Strong understanding of transaction lifecycle processes
Technical & Professional Skills
- Reconciliation tools and financial systems
- Data analysis and reporting
- Attention to detail and structured problem-solving
