Role Summary
This role operates at the core architecture layer of fintech systems, designing frameworks for risk intelligence, regulatory compliance, and systemic trust. The Lead Designer is responsible for ensuring that fintech platforms can autonomously understand risk, adapt to regulatory changes, and maintain operational integrity.
The role is fully remote, with focus on systems operating within Kuwait’s evolving financial and fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities

Architect risk intelligence and regulatory compliance frameworks, embedding them into financial system architecture.

Design system-level controls for transaction monitoring, exposure modeling, and anomaly detection.

Establish auditability and traceability principles for multi-jurisdictional fintech operations.

Produce detailed system blueprints, conceptual models, and technical governance documentation.

Research emerging fintech technologies and regulatory trends to maintain adaptive system design.

Operates upstream of compliance execution and downstream of fintech strategy.

Professional Experience

12–18 years in fintech systems design, financial risk architecture, or regulatory technology.

Strong systems-thinking, analytical modeling, and conceptual design capability.

Proven ability to translate abstract regulatory principles into operationally actionable system architecture.

Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment with high accountability.
