Position Overview
A leading digital finance organization is looking for a proactive Fintech Security Operations Analyst to monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats targeting financial systems and digital payment platforms. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of enterprise systems while supporting continuous security improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor security alerts using SIEM and threat detection platforms.
- Investigate security incidents affecting fintech applications and infrastructure.
- Analyze logs from cloud environments, endpoints, and network devices.
- Support incident response, containment, and recovery activities.
- Conduct threat intelligence research and identify emerging cyber risks.
- Assist with vulnerability assessments and remediation tracking.
- Monitor fraud-related cybersecurity indicators and suspicious digital activities.
- Support security compliance audits and internal assessments.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and DevSecOps teams.
- Prepare operational security reports and incident documentation.
- Maintain security playbooks and standard operating procedures.
- Recommend improvements to enterprise security controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or cybersecurity environment.
- Knowledge of SIEM platforms, EDR solutions, and network security technologies.
- Understanding of cloud security and identity management principles.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and financial sector security practices.
- Industry certifications are considered an advantage.
