Role Vision
This role is designed for a senior fintech leader whose mandate is to conceptualise, structure, and govern large-scale digital finance platforms rather than manage day-to-day delivery. The position focuses on payment modernisation, platform interoperability, and long-term fintech system coherence, operating at a strategic and architectural level.
The role is aligned with Saudi Arabia’s rapid digital finance evolution, while remaining fully remote and independent of any institution.
Executive Accountability Domains

Digital Payments Strategy: Define modern payment rail architectures, settlement logic, and transaction orchestration models capable of operating at national and cross-border scale.

Platform Modernisation: Establish principles for cloud-native, API-driven fintech platforms that support extensibility and longevity.

Governance & Oversight: Create decision frameworks, architectural guardrails, and escalation structures that ensure long-term system integrity.

Ecosystem Enablement: Define interoperability standards that allow banks, fintechs, and third-party platforms to integrate without structural friction.
Key Responsibilities

Produce executive-level blueprints for fintech platforms and payment ecosystems.

Define target-state architectures and phased modernisation roadmaps.

Establish performance, resilience, and auditability benchmarks.

Translate regulatory expectations into system-level design principles.

Provide senior advisory input on complex fintech design decisions.
Professional Requirements

15–20+ years in fintech, digital banking, payments infrastructure, or financial platforms.

Proven experience operating at enterprise or ecosystem scale.

Exceptional ability to communicate complex systems to senior stakeholders.

High independence, strategic judgment, and architectural clarity.
