Role Description

A digital finance platform focused on modern payment infrastructure is seeking a Fintech Payment Solutions Engineer to design, develop, and maintain technical solutions supporting digital payment processing.

The role involves working on financial APIs, transaction processing systems, payment gateway integrations, and financial data exchange protocols. The successful candidate will collaborate with engineering teams to ensure fintech systems operate reliably and efficiently.

This position requires strong technical expertise in software engineering, financial transaction systems, payment technologies, and cloud-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Payment System Development

• Develop backend components supporting digital payment processing systems.

• Design software modules that manage financial transactions and payment workflows.

• Implement integration solutions connecting fintech platforms with payment gateways.

Financial API Integration

• Build secure APIs enabling communication between fintech services and financial institutions.

• Optimize data exchange protocols for financial transactions.

• Support integration of digital wallets and cross-border payment services.

System Performance Optimization

• Monitor performance of financial systems and troubleshoot operational issues.

• Improve reliability and scalability of fintech platforms.

• Implement automated monitoring tools for payment processing environments.

Technical Collaboration

• Work with product teams to translate fintech product requirements into engineering solutions.

• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.

• Document system architecture and technical specifications.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Financial Technology.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in backend software engineering, fintech development, or payment technology.

Technical Skills

• Programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go

• RESTful API design and integration

• Payment gateway systems

• Cloud infrastructure platforms

Preferred Knowledge

• Digital wallet infrastructure

• Open banking integration frameworks
