Role Summary
The Fintech Merchant Operations & Settlement Coordinator is responsible for managing merchant-related financial processes, ensuring that transactions between customers, merchants, and financial institutions are processed accurately and settled on time.
This role focuses on operational efficiency, merchant satisfaction, and financial accuracy within a fast-paced fintech environment.
Core Processes Managed
Merchant Onboarding Support
- Assist in onboarding merchants onto payment platforms
- Ensure required documentation and verification processes are completed
- Coordinate with compliance teams for approvals
Transaction Processing
- Monitor merchant transactions and payment flows
- Ensure accurate processing of payments and settlements
- Identify and resolve transaction issues
Settlement Management
- Manage settlement schedules and ensure timely payouts to merchants
- Reconcile merchant accounts and transaction records
- Address discrepancies in settlement amounts
Expected Outcomes
- Accurate and timely merchant settlements
- Reduced transaction errors and discrepancies
- Improved merchant satisfaction and operational efficiency
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of merchant transactions and settlements

Candidate Profile
- 4–7 years of experience in fintech operations, merchant services, or payments
- Strong understanding of payment systems and settlement processes
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple processes in a remote environment

- Payment gateways and transaction systems
- Data analysis and reporting tools
- Basic understanding of APIs and integrations
