This role is tailored for a Financial Controls & Audit Manager who can design, implement, and oversee robust financial governance structures within a remote fintech environment.
Strategic Objectives
- Strengthen internal financial controls and governance frameworks
- Ensure accuracy and transparency in financial reporting
- Support compliance with regulatory and audit requirements
Key Responsibilities
Financial Controls Implementation
- Design and implement internal control systems for financial operations
- Monitor adherence to financial policies and procedures
- Identify control gaps and recommend improvements
Audit Management
- Plan and execute internal audits across financial processes
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies
- Ensure timely resolution of audit findings
Risk Management & Compliance
- Identify financial and operational risks
- Develop mitigation strategies and control mechanisms
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations within Oman
Reporting & Governance
- Prepare audit reports and financial control assessments
- Provide insights to senior management on financial performance and risks
- Support governance frameworks and decision-making processes
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- 5–9 years of experience in financial controls, audit, or compliance
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and audit practices
- Experience in fintech or financial services environments
