Role Summary
An evolving fintech-driven digital banking environment is seeking a Digital Banking Operations Manager to oversee the execution, monitoring, and continuous improvement of digital financial services. This role is central to ensuring that core banking operations—ranging from account management to transaction processing—operate efficiently, securely, and at scale.
The position requires a blend of operational expertise, process optimization capability, and a deep understanding of digital banking ecosystems.
Detailed Responsibilities
Operational Oversight
- Manage end-to-end digital banking operations including account services, payments, and transaction workflows
- Ensure system availability, transaction reliability, and service continuity
- Monitor operational KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary
Process Improvement & Efficiency
- Identify inefficiencies in operational processes and implement optimization strategies
- Introduce automation tools to enhance scalability and reduce manual workload
- Standardize operational procedures across digital banking services
Customer Experience Enhancement
- Analyze customer interactions and service performance metrics
- Collaborate with product teams to improve user experience
- Reduce friction in digital banking processes such as onboarding and transactions
Risk, Compliance & Controls
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal control frameworks
- Monitor operations for potential risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Support audit and compliance activities
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, product, and compliance teams
- Coordinate with external partners including financial institutions and service providers
- Provide operational insights to support strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline
- 6–10 years of experience in digital banking, fintech operations, or financial services
- Strong understanding of digital banking platforms and payment systems
- Experience managing operations in a remote environment
