Role Summary
As financial systems become more digitized, they also become more vulnerable. This role is for a cybersecurity expert who can anticipate, detect, and neutralize threats within complex fintech environments.
You will lead the design of multi-layered security frameworks, ensuring the integrity of digital financial platforms while safeguarding user data and transactional flows.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies for fintech platforms
- Design fraud detection and prevention systems using AI and behavioral analytics
- Monitor real-time transactions for anomalies and suspicious activities
- Conduct security audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments
- Establish incident response protocols and lead crisis management efforts
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations and financial industry standards
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security-by-design principles
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably within fintech or banking
- Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, and threat intelligence
- Experience with fraud detection systems and risk analytics
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks related to data protection and financial security
Preferred Expertise
- Experience with AI-driven fraud detection models
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH
- Knowledge of blockchain security and digital asset protection
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools and security operations centers (SOC)
