THE MISSION
We are looking for an exceptional Principal to design the high-performance technological foundations supporting the next generation of financial platforms.
Modern fintech systems must process enormous quantities of financial events while maintaining precision, resilience, security and near-continuous availability.
The successful candidate will operate at the deepest layer of the technology stack—designing infrastructure capable of supporting payment platforms, digital banking ecosystems, intelligent financial applications and high-volume transaction environments.
ARCHITECTURE AT SCALE
CLOUD
Develop scalable cloud-native environments capable of supporting:

Engineer systems using:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Establish enterprise cloud architecture for fintech platforms.

Design high-performance distributed systems.

Develop payment and transaction infrastructure.

Engineer scalable financial APIs.

Establish observability and reliability frameworks.

Optimise infrastructure performance.

Design disaster-recovery and business-continuity strategies.
-
Integrate AI infrastructure into financial platforms.

Lead architecture reviews.
-
Establish technical standards.
-
Mentor senior engineers.

Collaborate with security, data and product leadership.

IDEAL PROFILE

10–15+ years in software engineering, cloud architecture or fintech infrastructure.

Proven experience with large-scale distributed systems.

Strong understanding of financial transaction environments.

Advanced cloud architecture capability.

Excellent technical leadership.

Strong understanding of scalability and resilience.
-
International or GCC fintech experience preferred.
Indicative Compensation
OMR 4,500–7,000 monthly + performance incentives + executive benefits.
