Position Overview

A leading financial institution in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Fintech Consultant to drive strategic digital transformation initiatives and accelerate the adoption of innovative financial technologies. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking consultant who understands the intersection of banking, emerging technologies, customer experience, and digital financial ecosystems.

The successful candidate will work closely with executive leadership, technology teams, product managers, compliance professionals, and business stakeholders to identify transformation opportunities, optimize digital banking services, modernize payment infrastructures, and support enterprise-wide fintech innovation programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop fintech transformation strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

• Assess existing banking processes and recommend technology-driven improvements.

• Advise on digital banking modernization initiatives.

• Support the implementation of AI-powered financial services and intelligent automation.

• Evaluate emerging fintech solutions including embedded finance, Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), digital wallets, and open banking technologies.

• Conduct feasibility studies and business case development for innovation projects.

• Collaborate with technology teams on system integration and digital platform implementation.

• Provide guidance on payment modernization initiatives and real-time payment solutions.

• Analyze customer journeys and recommend improvements that enhance digital experiences.

• Support cloud migration strategies for banking applications.

• Ensure fintech initiatives comply with regulatory requirements and cybersecurity standards.

• Prepare executive presentations, strategic reports, and implementation roadmaps.

• Monitor fintech trends, competitor activity, and market developments.

• Build relationships with technology partners and solution providers.

• Facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders to identify innovation opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Master’s degree or MBA is advantageous.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in fintech consulting, banking transformation, digital banking, or financial technology.

• Strong understanding of payment systems, digital banking platforms, cloud technologies, APIs, and financial services.

• Excellent stakeholder management and strategic consulting skills.
