BUILDING WHAT FINANCE RUNS ON
Financial applications may appear simple to customers.
Behind every transfer, payment, account update, notification, and financial decision is an intricate network of services, databases, APIs, transaction engines, security controls, queues, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
We are looking for a highly capable Engineer to help build and operate that infrastructure.
This position is for an engineer who takes ownership of reliability, performance, scalability, maintainability, and technical quality—not simply feature delivery.
YOUR ENGINEERING MANDATE
You will:

Design and develop robust backend services for financial applications.

Build scalable APIs and service integrations.
-
Develop high-performance transaction-processing components.
-
Engineer distributed systems capable of handling demanding workloads.

Implement event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing.
-
Design and optimize database and data-access strategies.
-
Develop cloud-native services and infrastructure.
-
Establish monitoring, logging, tracing, and observability.
-
Improve system performance and reliability.
-
Participate in architecture reviews and technical design decisions.
-
Develop automated testing and deployment pipelines.
-
Investigate complex production incidents and implement permanent solutions.
-
Work closely with product, architecture, security, data, and operations teams.
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
Strong experience in several of the following areas is expected:

Java, Python, Go, or comparable backend languages

REST and event-driven APIs

Microservices
-
Cloud platforms

Kubernetes and containers

SQL and distributed databases
-
Message brokers

CI/CD

Infrastructure automation

Monitoring and observability

Secure software development

Payment or financial transaction systems

6+ years of professional software-engineering experience.

Strong backend-development expertise.

Strong understanding of engineering best practices.

Ability to work effectively across technical and business functions.
