Position Summary
The API Integrations & Partnerships Manager plays a critical role in expanding fintech ecosystem connectivity by managing third-party integrations and strategic partnerships. This role ensures that financial platforms seamlessly connect with banks, payment gateways, and external service providers through secure and efficient APIs.
Primary Responsibilities
API Integration Management
- Oversee integration of fintech platforms with external APIs including payment gateways, banking systems, and third-party services.
- Ensure smooth data exchange, system compatibility, and minimal latency.
- Coordinate testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of integrations.
Partnership Development
- Identify and onboard strategic partners within the fintech ecosystem.
- Manage relationships with external providers to ensure service reliability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to expand service offerings through partnerships.
Technical Coordination
- Work closely with engineering teams to define API requirements and specifications.
- Monitor API performance, uptime, and error rates.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure timely resolution.
Compliance & Security
- Ensure all integrations meet regulatory and security requirements.
- Maintain data protection standards across all connected systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in fintech integrations, APIs, or partnerships.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and financial systems.
