Role Definition
This role is dedicated to establishing and governing enterprise-wide financial data frameworks, ensuring data integrity, transparency, and regulatory compliance across all fintech systems.
The Chief Data Governance Officer will oversee data lifecycle management, digital asset tracking, and regulatory reporting infrastructures, ensuring that financial data is accurate, secure, and aligned with evolving regulatory requirements.
Strategic Responsibilities
Financial Data Governance Frameworks

Design enterprise data governance policies and standards

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems

Implement data classification, access control, and lifecycle management
Digital Asset Oversight

Develop frameworks for tracking and managing digital financial assets

Ensure transparency and traceability of asset movements

Integrate digital asset systems into broader financial infrastructure
Regulatory Reporting & Compliance

Build automated reporting systems for financial regulators

Ensure compliance with standards governed by the Central Bank of Oman

Implement audit trails and reporting transparency mechanisms
Technology & Data Environment

Data governance and quality management platforms

Financial data lakes and warehouse systems

Automated regulatory reporting tools

Blockchain-based asset tracking systems

Secure cloud infrastructure for data storage and processing
Candidate Profile

15–20 years in data governance, fintech data systems, or financial reporting

Strong expertise in data management, compliance, and digital assets

Experience leading enterprise data governance initiatives

Deep understanding of financial regulatory frameworks
