Build the Infrastructure That Powers Millions of Financial Transactions

An internationally expanding fintech institution is seeking an accomplished Principal to lead the engineering vision behind highly available cloud-native financial platforms capable of supporting mission-critical banking operations across the Gulf region.
Rather than maintaining infrastructure, you will engineer the technological backbone that enables innovation at enterprise scale.
Your Leadership Mission
You will establish engineering standards that maximize resilience, performance, security, scalability, and operational efficiency while ensuring infrastructure remains adaptable to rapidly evolving financial technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design enterprise cloud infrastructure supporting financial platforms.
- Lead modernization of distributed banking systems.
- Establish infrastructure resilience and disaster recovery strategies.
- Optimize cloud performance and operational efficiency.
- Develop infrastructure automation frameworks.
- Guide DevOps and Platform Engineering teams.
- Define enterprise observability standards.
- Strengthen security architecture across production environments.
- Support enterprise migration initiatives.
- Mentor senior engineers and engineering managers.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- 10+ years within enterprise infrastructure engineering.
- Strong expertise designing cloud-native environments.
- Extensive knowledge of high-availability architecture.
- Experience leading enterprise platform engineering teams.
- Exceptional analytical and systems design capabilities.
