Position Overview
A leading fintech enterprise is investing in resilient, cloud-native financial infrastructure and is seeking a Principal Cloud Security Architect to define security architecture standards across mission-critical banking, payments, lending, and analytics platforms.
This strategic engineering role will lead the design of secure cloud environments, establish enterprise security frameworks, and partner with software engineering teams to deliver scalable financial platforms that inspire confidence among customers and institutional partners.
Primary Responsibilities
- Architect enterprise cloud security strategies for financial applications.
- Design secure identity, access, and encryption frameworks.
- Establish cloud security governance and engineering standards.
- Conduct architecture reviews for new technology initiatives.
- Collaborate with DevSecOps, engineering, and infrastructure teams.
- Lead threat modelling and cloud risk assessments.
- Enhance platform resilience through proactive security controls.
- Mentor engineering teams on secure software development practices.
- Evaluate emerging cybersecurity technologies.
- Drive continuous improvement of enterprise cloud security posture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cloud Computing, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Minimum 9 years of experience in cloud security architecture or enterprise cybersecurity.
- Expertise in cloud-native security, Zero Trust principles, and secure infrastructure design.
- Experience supporting financial services or highly regulated industries.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
