Position Overview
A growing organization is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and operational performance of commercial facilities. This role requires a proactive professional capable of ensuring that all buildings, infrastructure, and support services operate efficiently while maintaining a safe and productive working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily facilities operations and maintenance activities.
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment.
- Oversee contractors, service providers, and maintenance teams.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage facilities budgets and operational expenditures.
- Coordinate workplace improvements and renovation projects.
- Conduct regular facility inspections and risk assessments.
- Monitor utilities, energy efficiency, and sustainability initiatives.
- Prepare operational reports and maintenance documentation.
- Respond promptly to facility emergencies and operational issues.
- Maintain inventory of facility assets and equipment.
- Recommend improvements to enhance workplace functionality and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience managing commercial or corporate facilities.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Knowledge of building maintenance systems and safety standards.
- Excellent organizational and budgeting abilities.
- Strong communication and vendor management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects effectively.
- Proficiency in facilities management software and Microsoft Office.
