Transformation Mandate
This role is designed for a senior executive tasked with modernizing legacy financial systems into cloud-native, highly resilient, and scalable infrastructures. The EVP will lead enterprise-wide transformation programs covering core banking modernization, infrastructure re-architecture, and platform resilience engineering.
The objective is to transition fragmented systems into cohesive, cloud-based financial ecosystems capable of supporting real-time transactions, high availability, and regulatory compliance at scale.
Strategic Pillars of Responsibility
1. Cloud-Native Financial Infrastructure

Design and implement cloud-first architectures for financial platforms

Migrate legacy banking systems to distributed, microservices-based environments

Ensure horizontal scalability and system elasticity
2. Core System Modernization

Re-engineer monolithic banking systems into modular platforms

Introduce event-driven architectures for real-time financial processing

Integrate modern APIs for interoperability across financial services
3. Platform Resilience & Reliability Engineering

Implement fault-tolerant systems and redundancy mechanisms

Design disaster recovery and business continuity frameworks

Establish site reliability engineering (SRE) practices
Technology Landscape

Multi-cloud infrastructure (public/private/hybrid)

Microservices and container orchestration platforms

Event streaming and real-time data processing systems

Infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and automation frameworks

Regulatory Alignment
All transformation initiatives must align with the frameworks of the Saudi Central Bank, ensuring compliance with digital banking modernization standards, data sovereignty, and operational resilience regulations.
Candidate Profile

18–25 years in fintech infrastructure, cloud engineering, or banking transformation

Proven track record in large-scale financial system modernization

Expertise in cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, and resilience engineering

Experience leading global transformation programs
