Executive Position Overview

A confidential next-generation fintech transformation programme is seeking an exceptional Chief of Staff – Executive Strategy, Digital Banking Transformation & Enterprise Governance to serve as the Chief Executive Officer’s principal strategic advisor and operational partner in driving enterprise-wide transformation, executive governance, organizational performance, and long-term business execution.

This highly influential executive role extends far beyond traditional executive support. It requires an accomplished strategic leader capable of orchestrating enterprise priorities, aligning executive decision-making, accelerating digital banking initiatives, overseeing cross-functional transformation programmes, and ensuring flawless execution of the organization’s strategic agenda.

The successful Chief of Staff will coordinate complex initiatives involving artificial intelligence, digital banking modernization, enterprise payments, Open Banking ecosystems, embedded finance, regulatory strategy, cloud-native technology, cybersecurity governance, customer experience, operational excellence, and organizational development while maintaining direct engagement with executive leadership, Board committees, and external strategic stakeholders.

Executive Leadership Responsibilities

Executive Strategy & Corporate Leadership

• Serve as the CEO’s strategic advisor on enterprise priorities.

• Translate executive vision into measurable operational initiatives.

• Coordinate enterprise-wide strategic planning cycles.

• Lead executive business reviews and governance meetings.

• Develop long-term organizational performance frameworks.

• Monitor execution of Board-approved strategic objectives.

Enterprise Transformation

• Direct enterprise digital transformation initiatives.

• Coordinate fintech modernization programmes.

• Oversee executive implementation of AI-enabled banking strategies.

• Align business units with corporate priorities.

• Remove organizational barriers affecting programme execution.

• Accelerate enterprise innovation initiatives.

Governance & Organizational Effectiveness

• Establish executive governance frameworks.

• Coordinate Board committee activities.

• Develop enterprise KPI scorecards.

• Monitor organizational performance metrics.

• Strengthen executive accountability mechanisms.

• Lead enterprise policy modernization initiatives.

Executive Collaboration

• Partner with Finance, Technology, Operations, Product, Legal, Risk, Cybersecurity, Compliance, Customer Experience, Human Capital, and Innovation leaders.

• Lead confidential executive initiatives.

• Represent the CEO in strategic meetings when delegated.

• Build high-performing executive communication frameworks.

Executive Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Doctorate in Business Administration, Finance, Financial Technology, Economics, Computer Science, Public Administration, or related discipline.

• Minimum 18–20 years of executive leadership experience within fintech, banking, financial services, or enterprise consulting.

• Proven experience supporting C-suite executives and Board governance.

• Strong expertise in enterprise transformation, AI, digital banking, strategic planning, and executive programme management.

• Exceptional executive presence, communication, diplomacy, and leadership capabilities.
