Strategic Mandate

The Executive Global Digital Finance Infrastructure & Payments Architect is responsible for designing, shaping, and future-proofing the architecture of national and cross-border digital finance platforms. This role operates at the strategic, systemic, and cross-jurisdictional level, with responsibility for ensuring that high-volume, multi-currency, and multi-platform financial systems are resilient, scalable, and interoperable while adhering to global standards such as ISO 20022, SWIFT, and real-time payment frameworks.

The mandate transcends operational execution, focusing instead on systemic coherence, cross-platform interoperability, and strategic foresight for both traditional and emerging payment networks.

Core Responsibilities

• Architect comprehensive frameworks for cross-border and domestic payment flows, settlement, and clearing

• Define systemic principles for transaction integrity, liquidity management, and operational resilience

• Evaluate emerging payment technologies (DLT, blockchain, real-time settlement) for strategic integration

• Assess systemic risks, operational bottlenecks, and scalability constraints in high-volume environments

• Produce executive-grade architecture briefs, white papers, and strategic roadmaps

• Advise regulators, central banks, and international financial institutions on infrastructure evolution

• Provide thought leadership for global digital finance integration and innovation

Required Expertise

• Extensive experience in financial infrastructure, cross-border payments, or fintech systems architecture

• Mastery of transaction lifecycle mechanics, clearing, settlement, and network interoperability

• Ability to translate complex system designs into executive-level strategic recommendations

• Proven capability to operate autonomously in remote executive advisory roles

Ideal Professional Profile

• 15+ years in payments systems, digital banking architecture, or fintech infrastructure design

• Exposure to multi-jurisdictional digital finance ecosystems

• Strong analytical, conceptual, and strategic communication skills
