Executive Governor of Financial Cloud Infrastructure- Core Fintech Platforms & System Resilience

Location: Saudi Arabia (Riyadh | Strategic Hybrid)

Mandate & Structural Purpose

This role defines how fintech systems are physically and logically hosted, scaled, and protected. The Executive Governor governs financial cloud architecture, ensuring that core fintech platforms operate with extreme resilience, security, and predictability under all conditions.

The mandate is to ensure that infrastructure failure never becomes financial failure.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Architect cloud-native fintech infrastructure frameworks for mission-critical systems.

• Define core platform decomposition strategies separating compute, data, and transaction logic.

• Establish high-availability and disaster-recovery architectures for financial systems.

• Design latency-optimised deployment models for real-time finance.

• Embed security, access control, and monitoring directly into infrastructure layers.

• Define infrastructure governance and lifecycle standards.

• Translate financial-system risk requirements into infrastructure-level constraints.

• Develop multi-decade infrastructure evolution roadmaps.

Required Expertise

• Deep understanding of cloud architecture for financial systems.

• Experience designing high-availability, low-latency infrastructure.

• Strong grasp of system resilience, fault tolerance, and observability.

• Ability to design infrastructure that scales without introducing systemic risk.

Leadership Orientation

• Treats infrastructure as financial backbone.

• Designs for worst-case scenarios.

• Thinks in system lifecycles, not deployments.

Compensation Architecture (Saudi Arabia)

• Base Salary: SAR 1,650,000 – 2,000,000 per annum

• Infrastructure Governance Allowance: SAR 300,000 – 450,000

• System Resilience Performance Incentive: Up to 35% of base

• Long-Term Platform Stability Awards: Multi-year milestone-based compensation
