Location: Remote – Bahrain (GCC)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Remote
Compensation: Exceptional Base + Performance-Linked Incentives + Equity Participation
Overview:
Bahrain seeks a visionary Executive Director of Quantitative Digital Finance Architecture to architect next-generation algorithmic finance infrastructures combining stochastic differential systems, formalized risk ontologies, and AI-driven market intelligence. The role demands the ability to mathematically formalize the entire lifecycle of digital financial instruments, including tokenized derivatives, decentralized liquidity networks, and algorithmic settlement mechanisms, while ensuring full compliance with regional and international regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Design multi-layered, high-dimensional stochastic models for asset pricing, systemic risk evaluation, and liquidity optimization across multi-chain payment ecosystems.
-
Architect category-theoretic financial protocols to formalize inter-instrument relations, capital flow morphisms, and cross-market equivalences.
-
Develop AI-driven predictive models for market anomalies, counterparty risk propagation, and real-time liquidity arbitrage.
-
Implement ontologically coherent knowledge graphs integrating regulatory mandates, market structure, and smart contract invariants.
-
Lead and mentor a cross-disciplinary team of quantitative engineers, cryptoeconomists, and AI research scientists, establishing rigorous proof-of-concept validation pipelines and real-time monitoring dashboards.
Required Expertise:
-
PhD or equivalent experience in Mathematical Finance, Computational Physics, or Formal Methods in Computer Science.
-
Mastery of Ito calculus, Lévy processes, high-dimensional Monte Carlo simulations, and stochastic control theory.
-
Expertise in blockchain consensus design, smart contract verification, and cryptoeconomic modeling.
-
Proficiency in Python, Rust, Haskell, C++, and Solidity, including high-performance quantitative libraries and decentralized SDKs.
-
Deep understanding of Bahrain Central Bank digital finance regulations, cross-border settlement frameworks, and AML/CFT protocols.
Preferred Attributes:
-
Publication record in algorithmic finance, distributed ledger systems, or applied stochastic modeling.
-
Experience implementing multi-agent reinforcement learning for market simulation.
-
Ability to translate abstract mathematical proofs into scalable financial architectures.
Why This Role:
This is an opportunity to reshape the ontology of digital finance in Bahrain, designing mathematically robust infrastructures capable of redefining GCC capital markets.
