An internationally connected financial technology operation within the Gulf region is currently recruiting an Executive Director of Institutional Blockchain Payments & Treasury Technology to lead the development of highly scalable financial transaction ecosystems integrating blockchain-enabled payment infrastructure, intelligent treasury technologies, and next-generation institutional financial operations.
This strategic position is designed for a fintech executive capable of transforming conventional treasury and payment operations into intelligent, digitally optimized, globally connected financial ecosystems capable of supporting enterprise-grade transaction volumes, institutional liquidity management, and cross-border payment orchestration.
The organization seeks a commercially intelligent leader capable of balancing fintech innovation, transaction security, operational resilience, regulatory governance, and infrastructure scalability while driving institutional digital finance modernization.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise payment modernization programs focused on blockchain-enabled settlements, digital treasury systems, and intelligent transaction orchestration environments.
- Develop scalable financial infrastructure supporting multi-currency payments, institutional liquidity optimization, automated treasury workflows, and real-time settlement capabilities.
- Oversee enterprise integration of API-driven payment gateways, cloud-native treasury platforms, and advanced reconciliation technologies.
- Build operational governance frameworks supporting transaction transparency, infrastructure resilience, and enterprise-grade payment security.
- Coordinate strategic fintech transformation projects involving banking integrations, payment processors, financial infrastructure providers, and digital transaction ecosystems.
- Design intelligent treasury forecasting systems leveraging predictive analytics and real-time financial intelligence technologies.
- Establish enterprise reporting structures for transaction analytics, treasury optimization performance, liquidity intelligence, and operational efficiency benchmarking.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance divisions to strengthen fraud prevention capabilities and regulatory readiness.
- Evaluate emerging digital finance technologies capable of improving institutional transaction efficiency and enterprise financial scalability.
- Support executive leadership in expanding global payment capabilities and institutional fintech partnerships.
Required Experience & Expertise
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Financial Technology, Treasury Management, Economics, Information Systems, or Banking Infrastructure.
- 10–14 years of experience within fintech infrastructure, institutional payments, treasury operations, blockchain finance, or enterprise financial systems.
- Strong understanding of transaction lifecycle management, treasury ecosystems, payment modernization frameworks, and institutional financial operations.
- Experience working with enterprise-scale payment systems, real-time settlements, and intelligent treasury environments.
- Advanced knowledge of fintech compliance frameworks, cybersecurity governance, and financial operational risk management.
- Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, and strategic leadership capabilities.
- Strong commercial understanding of evolving international financial technology markets.
