Role Intent

This role is designed for a senior fintech leader specializing in risk-aware system architecture, control design, and operational resilience. The position reframes risk not as a compliance afterthought, but as a core architectural dimension embedded directly into fintech platforms, transaction flows, and operating models.

The Executive Director will define how financial risk, technology risk, and operational risk are translated into enforceable system controls within complex, remote-operated fintech environments aligned with Dubai’s advanced financial ecosystem.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Design risk-embedded fintech architectures, where controls are native to system logic

• Establish frameworks for operational resilience, stress tolerance, and systemic failure containment

• Define technology control models covering transaction risk, access control, segregation of duties, and auditability

• Oversee incident response architectures, including early detection, automated containment, and recovery orchestration

• Translate regulatory and supervisory expectations into technical control blueprints

• Act as a strategic advisor on risk trade-offs in fintech innovation initiatives

Required Expertise

• Deep experience in fintech risk architecture, financial controls engineering, or technology risk leadership

• Strong understanding of how systems fail under scale, complexity, or stress

• Ability to bridge risk theory, system design, and real-world operational behavior

• Experience designing controls for real-time, high-velocity financial environments

Candidate Profile

• 14+ years across fintech, financial services technology, or risk engineering domains

• Proven credibility operating at senior governance and architecture levels

• Highly analytical, precise, and disciplined in system thinking

Engagement & Compensation

• Fully remote role aligned with Dubai’s fintech risk and resilience landscape

• Monthly compensation range: AED 80,000 – 110,000
