Role Overview:
Oman’s financial modernization strategy centers on intelligent data infrastructure, real-time payment networks, and AI-integrated digital finance. The Executive Director of Financial Data Infrastructure & AI-Powered Payments will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and leading end-to-end digital finance systems that fuse AI intelligence, blockchain transparency, and data-driven operational excellence.
The successful candidate will combine technical mastery with visionary leadership—ensuring that Oman’s fintech transformation aligns with emerging global digital standards and future-proof financial resilience.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop a unified digital finance infrastructure leveraging AI, data science, and high-frequency transaction analytics.

Oversee the implementation of next-generation payments ecosystems integrating predictive compliance and real-time fraud mitigation.

Define governance frameworks for data integrity, cybersecurity, and financial algorithm validation.

Build technical alliances with AI research institutions and cross-border financial innovation networks.

Spearhead the transformation of traditional financial platforms into fully digital, API-enabled, and analytics-optimized ecosystems.
Qualifications & Expertise:

12+ years’ experience in data-centric fintech engineering, AI payments, or digital infrastructure management.

Proven expertise in financial data modeling, distributed architectures, and regulatory system automation.

Master’s or PhD in Data Systems, Financial AI, or Computational Finance.

Deep understanding of GCC fintech innovation policies and real-time payment frameworks.

Experience integrating blockchain with AI for predictive payment intelligence.
