This executive-level remote appointment is designed for a senior fintech authority capable of architecting next-generation digital payment ecosystems at national and cross-border scale. The role operates at the intersection of real-time payments infrastructure, programmable money frameworks, tokenized settlement rails, and large-scale monetary digitization, with strategic alignment to Saudi Arabia’s rapidly expanding digital economy and financial modernization agenda.
The successful candidate will operate as a principal architect and strategic authority, defining payment system blueprints that integrate instant settlement, API-driven interoperability, sovereign digital currencies, and advanced liquidity orchestration models, while maintaining compatibility with international clearing, settlement, and regulatory coordination mechanisms.
Core Strategic Responsibilities

Design and oversee the architecture of large-scale digital payment infrastructures supporting high-velocity, high-volume transaction environments.

Lead the conceptualization of programmable payment systems, smart settlement logic, and tokenized transaction flows across domestic and cross-border corridors.

Define interoperability frameworks connecting real-time payment systems, digital wallets, embedded finance platforms, and international settlement networks.

Establish architectural standards for resiliency, scalability, latency optimization, and systemic risk mitigation in mission-critical payment environments.

Advise on the integration of advanced fraud intelligence, behavioral analytics, and real-time compliance automation within payment rails.

Technical & Domain Expertise Requirements
