Position Overview
The Executive Director of Digital Financial Ecosystem Engineering will lead the strategic and technical orchestration of Saudi Arabia’s next-generation financial infrastructure. The role is designed for a digital finance visionary capable of harmonizing blockchain interoperability, data intelligence, and API-based finance ecosystems within the framework of Vision 2030’s financial digitalization agenda.
This role merges innovation leadership with deep architectural fluency—enabling seamless integration between legacy banking systems, fintech platforms, and regulatory intelligence hubs.
Key Responsibilities

Engineer end-to-end digital finance ecosystems integrating AI-powered analytics, open banking frameworks, and real-time data orchestration.

Design interoperable multi-layer payment systems built on ISO 20022 and cross-border digital settlement protocols.

Lead strategic governance for AI-assisted compliance, AML automation, and cybersecurity intelligence frameworks.

Collaborate with financial regulators and market enablers to align innovation with monetary stability and data governance standards.

Establish advanced digital infrastructure enabling tokenized assets, API orchestration, and cloud-native banking innovation.
Candidate Profile

12+ years in fintech system architecture, digital banking transformation, or financial technology strategy.

Strong understanding of Saudi regulatory frameworks, digital identity systems, and open finance policies.

Proficiency in distributed computing, cloud-native architecture, and data-driven financial analytics.

Demonstrated experience in multi-stakeholder fintech ecosystem design or API-led innovation management.
Educational Requirements

MSc or PhD in Financial Systems Engineering, Digital Technology, or Data Architecture.

Certification in Fintech Innovation, Cloud Security, or Advanced Digital Payments Infrastructure.
