Role Overview
The Remote Executive Director of Digital Financial Architecture will lead the design, implementation, and governance of Oman’s next-generation digital finance ecosystem. This role combines visionary leadership with deep technical expertise to create scalable, interoperable, and AI-enabled financial infrastructure that aligns with global best practices.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Infrastructure Design: Architect end-to-end digital banking systems, including cloud-native platforms, real-time payment rails, and API-driven interoperability.

AI & Analytics Enablement: Deploy machine learning and predictive analytics for credit assessment, fraud detection, and operational optimization.

Blockchain & Distributed Ledger Integration: Lead blockchain-enabled payment solutions, tokenization, and smart contract frameworks.

Regulatory & Policy Alignment: Collaborate with regulatory authorities to ensure adherence to GCC and international compliance standards (ISO 20022, FATF, BIS).

Cross-Border Financial Integration: Ensure seamless interoperability with regional and international financial networks.
Qualifications

Master’s or PhD in Financial Technology, Systems Engineering, or Digital Finance.

10+ years in fintech infrastructure design, digital banking transformation, or AI-enabled financial systems.

Expertise in blockchain, open banking APIs, cloud-native architectures, and data governance.

Proven experience managing remote, multi-disciplinary, and cross-border teams.
