Salary Range: OMR 7,000 – 10,000 per month + Performance Bonus + Strategic Equity Participation
Reporting To: Board of Digital Finance Strategy
Role Overview:
We are seeking an Executive Director of Digital Finance Architecture to lead Oman’s most advanced fintech initiatives, including digital banking transformation, blockchain integration, AI-driven payment platforms, and embedded finance ecosystems. This role demands a visionary leader who combines deep technical expertise, strategic foresight, regulatory mastery, and operational excellence to drive high-impact fintech innovations at a national and regional scale.
Key Responsibilities:

Architect and oversee enterprise-level digital finance systems, including AI-powered lending, digital wallets, real-time payment solutions, and cross-border settlements.

Lead blockchain-based financial infrastructure projects, including tokenized assets, smart contracts, and decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms.

Ensure all initiatives comply with Central Bank of Oman regulations, AML/KYC requirements, and data protection laws.

Develop predictive models and AI-driven analytics for fraud detection, transaction monitoring, and personalized customer engagement.

Forge strategic partnerships with regional and international fintech firms, technology vendors, and investment entities.

Define and implement comprehensive KPIs for platform adoption, operational efficiency, and financial performance.

Mentor senior technical and product teams, fostering innovation, best practices, and a culture of digital transformation.

Continuously monitor fintech market trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure competitive advantage.
Required Qualifications:

Master’s or Doctorate in Finance, Computer Science, Blockchain Technology, or a related discipline; professional fintech certifications preferred.

Minimum 12 years of experience in digital finance, fintech, or banking technology; 5+ years in executive leadership roles.

Deep expertise in AI/ML for finance, blockchain architectures, embedded finance, and digital banking ecosystems.

Extensive knowledge of Oman’s fintech regulations and cross-border financial compliance standards.

Exceptional strategic, analytical, and leadership skills with proven ability to drive large-scale fintech initiatives.
Compensation Structure:

Base Salary: OMR 7,000 – 10,000 per month

Performance Bonus: Up to 35% of base salary, tied to platform adoption, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance milestones
