This executive-level remote role is positioned at the forefront of core banking transformation, digital ledger re-engineering, and next-generation financial system modernization. The mandate extends beyond conventional system upgrades into full-scale re-architecture of banking cores, enabling real-time processing, modular extensibility, and seamless integration with fintech ecosystems.
The role is designed for a senior fintech authority capable of conceptualizing, governing, and executing large-scale core banking evolution, supporting Kuwait’s advanced financial sector while maintaining international interoperability and resilience.
Core Strategic Responsibilities

Architect and oversee modular, API-driven core banking platforms supporting real-time posting, settlement, and reconciliation.

Lead digital ledger transformation initiatives integrating event-driven accounting, sub-ledger orchestration, and atomic transaction processing.

Design integration layers connecting core systems with payments, digital channels, risk engines, and external fintech platforms.

Establish architectural governance standards for scalability, fault tolerance, and system extensibility.

Translate regulatory, reporting, and audit requirements into structural system controls embedded at the ledger level.

Serve as a strategic authority on core banking modernization roadmaps, vendor-neutral architectures, and future-state platform design.
Technical & Domain Mastery

Deep expertise in core banking platforms, digital ledgers, and financial transaction processing engines.

Advanced understanding of microservices-based banking cores and real-time financial data flows.

Strong command of financial accounting logic, posting rules, and reconciliation frameworks.

Proven experience delivering multi-country, high-volume financial system transformations.
Salary Structure (Indicative – Remote, Kuwait-Focused)

Base Monthly Compensation: KWD 11,500 – KWD 16,000

Annual Strategic Performance Bonus: KWD 45,000 – KWD 70,000
