Role Overview
This position is a sovereign-level strategic leadership role designed to oversee the architecture, governance, and systemic evolution of national digital financial systems. Operating fully remotely, this role ensures resilience, scalability, and interoperability of payment networks, clearing systems, and fintech platforms across the national ecosystem.
This is not an operational role. The mandate focuses on long-term strategy, architecture frameworks, and national-level fintech governance.
Key Responsibilities

Define national payments infrastructure, including interbank settlement systems and platform interoperability

Develop resilience, redundancy, and disaster recovery strategies

Guide systemic risk management, governance alignment, and policy integration

Produce executive-level architecture blueprints, strategic roadmaps, and advisory reports

Advise on emerging fintech innovations, including AI-driven payments, blockchain settlement, and open banking integration

Align domestic financial platforms with cross-border interoperability standards

Candidate Profile

20+ years in digital finance architecture, payments systems, or national-scale fintech infrastructure

Proven experience advising governmental or sovereign entities

Exceptional systems-thinking, strategic insight, and executive communication

Ability to operate autonomously at the highest advisory level
