Role Overview

The Executive Director of Digital Finance Architecture is a sovereign-level strategic leadership role responsible for shaping the architecture, governance, and long-term resilience of national digital financial ecosystems. Fully remote, this mandate is designed for professionals who can conceptualize, govern, and future-proof national payment infrastructures and fintech platforms.

This is not an operational or product delivery role. The focus is strategic foresight, systemic architecture, and national-level policy alignment.

Core Responsibilities

• Architect national payments and clearing systems, ensuring interoperability and scalability across financial platforms

• Develop resilience, redundancy, and disaster recovery strategies for national digital finance infrastructure

• Lead the design of systemic risk frameworks and regulatory alignment

• Produce executive-level architecture blueprints, strategic roadmaps, and advisory reports

• Evaluate emerging fintech technologies, including blockchain, AI-based payments, and open banking platforms, for national adoption

• Provide cross-border integration strategies to align domestic platforms with international standards

• Comfortable operating autonomously at the highest advisory level
