The Executive Director of Fintech Product Lifecycle & Platform Governance shapes how fintech products are conceived, scaled, and retired without compromising platform integrity. The role ensures that innovation is systematically governed, structural coherence is preserved, and financial platforms evolve sustainably under increasing complexity and market demands.
Key Responsibilities

Design frameworks for governance of product lifecycle from ideation to retirement

Ensure alignment between product evolution, platform architecture, and financial controls

Define operational processes for product introduction, modification, and decommissioning

Oversee scalability, technical debt, and systemic impact of product changes

Advise leadership on strategic trade-offs between speed, innovation, and platform stability

Produce executive-level governance playbooks, metrics, and long-term evolution roadmaps

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product strategy with platform sustainability
Required Expertise

15–22+ years in fintech product governance, digital platform management, or strategic platform design

Extensive experience leading complex digital financial ecosystems

Strong systems thinking with ability to manage long-term technical and financial risk

Proven ability to communicate and implement governance frameworks in a global remote environment

Leadership experience with fully distributed, high-performing teams
