A rapidly expanding fintech ecosystem within the UAE is seeking an Executive Director – Fintech Marketplace Ecosystems & Embedded Commerce Finance to lead the development of innovative financial solutions that seamlessly integrate lending, payments, treasury services, merchant financing, subscription billing, and digital financial experiences into commercial platforms.
This position represents a rare opportunity to build financial infrastructure that powers entire ecosystems rather than individual products.
The successful candidate will help shape how businesses access working capital, how merchants process payments, how customers finance purchases, and how digital commerce evolves throughout the region.
Strategic Mandate
You will serve as the executive leader responsible for transforming embedded finance from a product category into a scalable growth engine.
Responsibilities include:
Ecosystem Development
- Build integrated financial ecosystems connecting merchants, consumers, logistics providers, and digital platforms.
- Design embedded finance strategies across multiple industries.
- Expand ecosystem partnerships throughout the GCC.
- Drive financial innovation initiatives supporting marketplace growth.
- Create long-term commercial expansion frameworks.
Product Leadership
- Develop innovative financing solutions for merchants and businesses.
- Launch next-generation embedded payment products.
- Support development of intelligent commerce finance tools.
- Improve digital customer financial experiences.
- Lead commercialization efforts for emerging fintech products.
Revenue Growth
- Identify new business opportunities.
- Develop scalable monetization strategies.
- Expand customer acquisition channels.
- Improve ecosystem profitability.
- Support sustainable long-term growth objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Technology, or related discipline.
- Master’s degree highly desirable.
- 12+ years of fintech, payments, digital commerce, banking, or financial services experience.
- Proven executive leadership background.
- Strong understanding of embedded finance ecosystems.
- Excellent strategic planning and stakeholder management capabilities.
