Strategic Overview
This role is designed for a senior fintech executive with deep expertise in next-generation digital payments, cross-border transaction orchestration, and high-throughput financial infrastructure. The mandate extends to defining, architecting, and operationalizing intelligent payment ecosystems that combine real-time clearing, settlement optimization, predictive analytics, and AI-driven transaction intelligence.
The Executive Director will lead remote, multi-functional teams spanning payments engineering, operations, and compliance, ensuring resilience, scalability, and international interoperability across payment rails.
Core Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end architecture of domestic and international payments platforms, including instant payments, cross-border clearing, and merchant ecosystems.

Design AI-powered transaction optimization engines for predictive routing, settlement acceleration, and fee minimization.

Define governance frameworks ensuring auditability, operational transparency, and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.

Integrate risk management, fraud detection, and exception handling directly into transaction flows.

Collaborate with central banks, financial institutions, and fintech partners to ensure interoperability and strategic alignment with emerging payment standards.

Drive strategic initiatives in blockchain-based settlement, programmable payments, and real-time liquidity orchestration.
Required Expertise

Proven experience in high-volume payment systems, real-time gross settlement, ISO 20022, and cross-border payment architecture.

Expertise in AI-driven analytics, predictive settlement, and distributed ledger technologies.

Strong record in executive leadership across multi-geography, cross-functional fintech initiatives.

Ability to convert complex regulatory mandates into automated operational workflows.
Compensation & Benefits (Indicative – Saudi Arabia)

Base Salary: SAR 50,000 – SAR 70,000 per month

Annual Performance Bonus: SAR 250,000 – SAR 450,000
