An advanced fintech initiative building next-generation financial technology ecosystems across emerging financial markets is seeking an Executive Director of Digital Banking Infrastructure & Financial Systems Engineering.

This role sits at the intersection of large-scale financial technology architecture, digital payments infrastructure, and high-availability financial systems engineering. The successful candidate will guide the design and deployment of distributed fintech systems capable of powering complex digital financial services including transaction processing networks, programmable financial APIs, financial data orchestration engines, and scalable payment infrastructures.

The Executive Director will lead multidisciplinary engineering teams responsible for designing resilient financial platforms capable of supporting millions of financial transactions with minimal latency and exceptional operational reliability.

Core Strategic Responsibilities

Financial Systems Architecture Governance

• Establish architectural standards governing fintech infrastructure frameworks.

• Define scalable technology blueprints supporting next-generation digital banking platforms.

• Oversee architecture governance ensuring interoperability across payment ecosystems.

Digital Payment Infrastructure Development

• Lead engineering design of modern payment processing networks supporting real-time financial transactions.

• Oversee integration frameworks connecting fintech platforms to regional and international financial networks.

• Ensure payment infrastructure supports high throughput and fault-tolerant processing.

Financial Technology Platform Engineering

• Direct development of distributed financial technology platforms.

• Introduce advanced architectural patterns enabling modular financial service delivery.

• Ensure financial systems maintain high levels of performance, security, and reliability.

Technology Innovation Leadership

• Evaluate emerging fintech technologies capable of enhancing financial platform capabilities.

• Promote adoption of advanced computing paradigms within financial systems.

• Establish long-term innovation roadmaps for fintech platform evolution.

Required Professional Background

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or Information Systems Architecture.

• 10+ years experience designing enterprise-grade fintech infrastructure or digital banking technology systems.

• Proven leadership managing large engineering teams in fintech environments.
