Role Definition
A forward-looking executive role focused on building next-generation digital asset ecosystems, leveraging blockchain technology, tokenization frameworks, and decentralized financial infrastructure.
The Executive Director will oversee the creation of secure, scalable, and compliant digital asset platforms, enabling tokenized financial instruments, digital currencies, and blockchain-based financial services.
Strategic Responsibilities
1. Blockchain Infrastructure Development

Design and implement enterprise-grade blockchain networks

Develop smart contract frameworks for financial transactions

Ensure scalability, security, and performance of distributed systems
2. Tokenization & Digital Asset Platforms
-
Build platforms for tokenizing financial and real-world assets
-
Enable issuance, trading, and management of digital assets
-
Integrate digital asset systems with traditional financial infrastructure
3. Compliance & Governance Frameworks
-
Establish governance models for digital asset ecosystems

Ensure compliance with regulations set by the Central Bank of Bahrain

Implement security protocols and risk management systems
Technology & Blockchain Stack
-
Distributed ledger technologies (DLT)

Smart contract development frameworks

Digital asset custody and security systems

Blockchain analytics and monitoring tools

Cloud and hybrid infrastructure for scalability
Candidate Profile

15–20 years in blockchain, digital assets, or fintech innovation

Expertise in tokenization, smart contracts, and distributed systems

Experience leading digital asset platform development

Strong understanding of financial regulations related to digital assets
