Executive Director- Digital Asset & Fintech Platform Strategy – Qatar
Role Overview
This executive role is responsible for defining the strategic architecture of digital asset platforms and next-generation fintech ecosystems, including tokenized financial instruments, programmable finance, and institutional-grade digital asset infrastructure.
The role operates at a macro-strategic level, shaping policy-aligned technical frameworks while ensuring commercial scalability and global interoperability. It is intended for a fintech leader capable of aligning distributed ledger technologies, digital custody models, and regulated financial platforms into a coherent long-term ecosystem strategy.
Strategic Scope

Define platform strategies for digital asset issuance, custody, trading, and lifecycle management

Architect secure and scalable ledger-based systems integrated with traditional financial infrastructure

Design governance frameworks for smart contracts, token standards, and platform risk controls

Evaluate interoperability between public, private, and consortium-based ledger systems

Lead the convergence of digital assets with payments, capital markets, and wealth platforms

Establish institutional-grade security, custody, and transaction audit frameworks
Technical & Strategic Expertise

Advanced knowledge of distributed ledger technologies, tokenization models, and smart contract architecture

Strong understanding of financial market infrastructure and post-trade processes

Experience designing digital custody, key management, and transaction security frameworks

Ability to translate regulatory principles into enforceable technical standards

Proven capability in long-horizon platform strategy and ecosystem development
Executive Profile

16+ years in fintech, digital assets, or financial infrastructure strategy

Prior experience operating at board or national-level advisory capacity

Exceptional strategic articulation and cross-stakeholder leadership skills

Strong international exposure and global fintech perspective
Compensation Structure (Qatar)

Base Salary: QAR 80,000 – 105,000 per month

Annual Executive Bonus: 35% – 50%
