Role Overview
A major financial innovation platform in Doha is recruiting an elite Executive Director – Blockchain Treasury & Institutional Settlement Systems to lead the strategic modernization of treasury settlement frameworks, digital asset transaction controls, and enterprise blockchain financial infrastructure.
This role is built for a senior fintech executive with deep institutional understanding of treasury operations, liquidity management, settlement architecture, custody governance, digital asset workflows, and distributed ledger finance systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring secure, scalable, and regulator-ready treasury operations across high-value institutional transaction environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead treasury-linked blockchain settlement systems across institutional payments, digital asset transfers, and enterprise financial operations
- Design governance structures for digital custody, reconciliation workflows, transaction approvals, wallet authorization, and treasury auditability
- Build operational controls for institutional settlement transparency, financial integrity, and transaction lifecycle governance
- Collaborate with compliance, legal, finance, and regulatory teams to ensure alignment with Qatar financial operating frameworks
- Optimize liquidity movement across blockchain settlement environments and treasury-linked financial infrastructure
- Oversee stablecoin settlement frameworks, institutional digital asset workflows, and enterprise treasury control systems
- Establish executive dashboards for treasury visibility, operational risk monitoring, and transaction integrity reporting
- Manage strategic relationships with blockchain infrastructure providers, treasury technology vendors, and institutional financial partners
- Improve settlement efficiency, reconciliation accuracy, and operational resilience across distributed ledger financial systems
- Lead cross-functional execution across treasury, operations, compliance, product, and executive leadership teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Financial Technology, Economics, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Minimum 8+ years of leadership experience within treasury operations, blockchain finance, institutional settlements, or enterprise fintech operations
- Strong expertise in blockchain treasury operations, digital asset controls, and institutional financial governance
- Deep understanding of reconciliation architecture, settlement systems, and treasury operational controls
- Strong knowledge of financial compliance, enterprise governance, and regulated institutional finance
- Proven executive leadership in high-scale financial transformation environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive reporting capabilities
- Strong strategic thinking across operational and financial ecosystems
