A highly sophisticated fintech ecosystem accelerating the modernization of institutional digital finance infrastructure is seeking a visionary Executive Director – Blockchain Payment Infrastructure & Digital Asset Operations to lead one of the Gulf region’s most advanced blockchain-enabled financial transformation programs.
This organization is building enterprise-grade digital asset ecosystems integrating blockchain-powered settlements, tokenized transaction infrastructure, programmable payment systems, enterprise wallet orchestration, smart liquidity routing, digital treasury operations, and cross-border transaction intelligence platforms designed to support multinational financial institutions, enterprise commerce networks, and institutional payment ecosystems.
The role is engineered for elite fintech leaders capable of combining distributed ledger infrastructure, enterprise payment modernization, cloud-native financial architecture, digital asset governance, and transaction scalability engineering into highly adaptive next-generation finance ecosystems.
The selected executive will oversee enterprise-wide blockchain modernization programs involving high-volume transaction infrastructure, operational resilience systems, intelligent compliance automation, and real-time financial interoperability environments.
Strategic Role Overview
The Executive Director will supervise digital asset infrastructure modernization, blockchain payment architecture, enterprise transaction ecosystems, and operational scalability initiatives across complex fintech environments.
This role combines fintech transformation leadership, blockchain systems engineering, enterprise infrastructure modernization, and institutional digital finance strategy.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise blockchain payment modernization and digital asset infrastructure initiatives
- Design scalable distributed financial systems supporting institutional transaction environments
- Build intelligent payment orchestration ecosystems for digital settlement operations
- Develop enterprise wallet infrastructure supporting secure digital asset management
- Oversee cloud-native modernization across blockchain-enabled financial environments
- Implement interoperability frameworks connecting banks, merchants, exchanges, and enterprise platforms
- Coordinate operational resilience strategies supporting uninterrupted transaction continuity
- Strengthen compliance automation systems aligned with enterprise digital finance governance
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to secure financial transaction ecosystems
- Supervise enterprise analytics platforms supporting blockchain transaction intelligence
- Evaluate emerging distributed finance technologies shaping future fintech ecosystems
- Mentor multidisciplinary teams across engineering, operations, analytics, and infrastructure modernization divisions
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Financial Technology, Computer Science, Blockchain Systems, or related discipline
- 10–18 years of experience across fintech infrastructure, blockchain ecosystems, or enterprise financial modernization programs
- Strong expertise in distributed systems architecture and digital payment infrastructure
- Deep understanding of blockchain interoperability and transaction orchestration frameworks
- Experience leading enterprise-scale financial transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure and cybersecurity governance systems
- Exceptional executive leadership and multinational strategic planning capabilities
- GCC financial technology modernization exposure strongly preferred
