Strategic Mandate
The Executive Director of Fintech Platform Operating Models, Governance Architecture & Scale Design will define how fintech platforms operate as institutions, not merely as technology stacks.
This role governs the structural logic of decision-making, change management, accountability, and evolution—ensuring that growth, innovation, and complexity do not erode platform coherence or financial discipline.
Core Responsibilities

Design operating models aligning technology, finance, product, and control functions

Establish governance architectures for platform change, expansion, and deprecation

Define decision rights, escalation models, and structural accountability frameworks

Guide platform evolution across multiple growth phases and market conditions

Balance innovation velocity with long-term structural integrity

Produce executive-level governance playbooks and operating frameworks

Advise senior stakeholders on structural trade-offs at scale

Ensure platform longevity under continuous financial and technological change
Required Expertise

16–22+ years in fintech leadership, platform governance, or financial operating models

Demonstrated success managing complexity in large digital finance environments

Exceptional systems thinking and strategic synthesis capability

Strong executive communication and advisory skills

Proven effectiveness in fully remote, globally distributed leadership roles
