Strategic Role Definition

This role is positioned as a system-custodianship authority, responsible for the architectural coherence, structural integrity, and long-term sustainability of advanced fintech platforms. The mandate is not limited to building systems; it is focused on preserving architectural truth over time as platforms scale, diversify, and absorb increasing transactional, regulatory, and operational complexity.

The successful candidate will act as the guardian of financial platform architecture, ensuring that payments, accounts, data flows, and control systems evolve without architectural entropy, performance degradation, or governance dilution—aligned with Bahrain’s role as a mature regional fintech environment.

Strategic Mandate & Institutional Scope

• Define and enforce platform-wide architectural principles governing financial systems, integrations, and data flows.

• Architect structural integrity models ensuring that growth, feature expansion, and regional scaling do not compromise system coherence.

• Establish architectural governance frameworks covering design reviews, dependency management, and systemic risk containment.

• Design transaction integrity mechanisms ensuring consistency, reconciliation accuracy, and audit reliability across all financial processes.

• Oversee cross-platform interoperability strategies, including payment rails, financial data exchanges, and external infrastructure connectivity.

• Define long-horizon architectural roadmaps aligned with future financial instruments, emerging technologies, and market evolution.

• Act as the ultimate authority on platform resilience, degradation prevention, and controlled system evolution.

Executive Technical Profile

• 15+ years in fintech platform architecture, financial systems governance, or enterprise financial technology leadership.

• Deep expertise in distributed systems, financial data consistency, and architectural governance frameworks.

• Strong understanding of transaction processing, financial control logic, and platform lifecycle management.

• Proven experience maintaining architectural coherence across large, evolving fintech ecosystems.

• International fintech or financial infrastructure exposure required.

Remote Compensation Architecture (Bahrain Benchmarking)

• Base Annual Compensation: BHD 95,000 – BHD 125,000

• Architectural Stewardship & Integrity Bonus: BHD 20,000 – BHD 35,000

• Long-Term System Preservation Incentive: BHD 25,000 – BHD 45,000

• Total Annual Compensation Envelope: BHD 140,000 – BHD 205,000
