This role exists at the strategic apex of national-scale payment infrastructure design.
Role Mandate
The Executive Architect will assume full architectural authority over digital payment rails and settlement engines engineered for systemic resilience, uninterrupted availability, and global interoperability. The mandate is not limited to technology delivery; it encompasses economic logic, settlement finality, and regulatory defensibility, executed through a fully remote global operating model.
Core Responsibilities

Architect large-scale real-time payments and settlement platforms supporting domestic clearing, international remittances, and high-value transactions.

Design transaction lifecycle frameworks covering initiation, authorization, liquidity positioning, settlement, reconciliation, and exception management.

Establish architectural standards for availability, fault isolation, disaster recovery, and operational continuity at national scale.

Embed supervisory transparency, auditability, and compliance controls directly into platform architecture.

Act as the definitive architectural authority across distributed engineering and governance stakeholders.
Professional & Technical Profile

15+ years designing or governing mission-critical financial market or payments infrastructure.

Advanced mastery of distributed systems, transaction processing, and high-availability architectures.

Demonstrated ability to translate regulatory and monetary frameworks into enforceable technical designs.
