About the Opportunity
An internationally respected fintech banking institution is seeking a visionary Enterprise Solutions Architect – Digital Banking Transformation to lead the architecture and modernization of enterprise-wide banking platforms supporting millions of retail, corporate, SME, and institutional customers. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an accomplished technology architect with extensive expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud-native financial platforms, distributed systems, digital banking ecosystems, and next-generation payment technologies.
As financial institutions continue to accelerate digital transformation through artificial intelligence, intelligent automation, embedded finance, open banking, API ecosystems, real-time payment infrastructures, digital identity, and advanced analytics, the successful candidate will become instrumental in defining the organization’s long-term technology vision while ensuring architectural excellence, regulatory alignment, scalability, operational resilience, and cybersecurity.
Working alongside executive leadership, Chief Technology Office, engineering managers, cybersecurity specialists, DevSecOps teams, product executives, compliance professionals, infrastructure engineers, data architects, and business stakeholders, you will design enterprise technology ecosystems that support sustainable innovation and exceptional customer experiences.
Position Responsibilities
- Define enterprise architecture strategies supporting digital banking modernization.
- Design scalable technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives.
- Architect enterprise banking platforms supporting payments, lending, customer onboarding, wealth management, treasury, and financial analytics.
- Develop secure cloud-native architectures utilizing microservices and event-driven technologies.
- Lead architecture governance, technical standards, and enterprise design reviews.
- Define API-first integration strategies across internal and external financial ecosystems.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to embed security-by-design principles throughout enterprise platforms.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic technology investments.
- Establish architecture documentation, reference models, and enterprise design frameworks.
- Guide engineering teams during solution implementation while maintaining architectural integrity.
- Participate in executive technology governance committees and strategic transformation initiatives.
- Mentor senior engineers, solution architects, and technical leads.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree in Enterprise Architecture, Information Technology, Business Administration, or Financial Technology is highly desirable.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive technology leadership experience, including at least 5 years in enterprise architecture within fintech, banking, financial services, or large-scale technology organizations.
- Proven expertise delivering enterprise transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of financial technology ecosystems and banking operations.
