Engineering Mission
Design and strengthen the cloud infrastructure supporting critical financial applications, with particular emphasis on security, resilience, availability and controlled scalability.
The Engineer will work across infrastructure and security disciplines to ensure that financial workloads remain protected and operational under demanding production conditions.
Core Responsibilities

Design secure cloud architectures for fintech applications and services.

Implement infrastructure-as-code and automated deployment processes.

Strengthen identity and access-management controls across cloud environments.

Develop monitoring and observability frameworks for critical infrastructure.

Establish high-availability and disaster-recovery mechanisms.
-
Conduct infrastructure-security assessments and remediate identified weaknesses.
-
Automate security and compliance checks within CI/CD pipelines.
-
Implement network segmentation and secure service-to-service communication.
-
Investigate infrastructure incidents and lead technical remediation.
-
Perform capacity and performance analysis for financial workloads.
-
Collaborate with application engineers and cybersecurity teams on secure architecture.

Develop technical documentation and operational standards.
Technical Requirements
-
5+ years in cloud engineering, DevSecOps, SRE, infrastructure or cybersecurity engineering.

Strong experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.

Proficiency with Terraform or equivalent infrastructure-as-code technology.

Strong Linux, networking and containerisation knowledge.

Experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.

Understanding of encryption, IAM, secrets management and cloud security.

Familiarity with monitoring platforms and incident-response practices.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity or a related discipline.

Indicative Compensation: KWD 3,200–5,000 per month + benefits.
