Engineer — Cloud Fintech Infrastructure

Engineering Objective
Build the resilient cloud infrastructure required to operate modern financial platforms at scale. The Engineer will focus on availability, automation, performance and security across mission-critical fintech environments.
Core Responsibilities

Design and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure for fintech applications.

Develop infrastructure-as-code and automated deployment pipelines.

Implement observability across financial platforms and distributed services.

Optimize cloud resources for performance, resilience and cost efficiency.
-
Establish disaster-recovery and business-continuity mechanisms.
-
Support containerized and microservices-based financial applications.
-
Implement secure networking and cloud-access controls.
-
Automate infrastructure provisioning, testing and operational workflows.
-
Investigate production incidents and conduct root-cause analysis.

Collaborate with software engineers, security teams and architects on platform reliability.
Technical Requirements
-
6+ years of cloud or infrastructure engineering experience.

Strong experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or comparable environments.

Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code technologies.

Strong Linux, networking and systems knowledge.
-
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and observability platforms.

Understanding of high-availability financial systems.
-
Strong cybersecurity and cloud-security awareness.
Advantageous Experience
Experience with payment platforms, banking applications, high-volume transaction systems or regulated financial infrastructure will be highly valued.
Engineering Standard
The successful candidate will be expected to engineer infrastructure where downtime, data loss and uncontrolled operational risk are treated as unacceptable engineering outcomes.
